Explain about the user interface type 'form'?
A form is a way of separating out the different input items that can be used by a computer system or computer program.

Without a form you only have free form text which my be more difficult to process unless it follows very strict rules.

The form types can consist of a text box, text area, dropdown list, radio button and check box.

Extra formatting rules can also be added to only allow a valid date in a specific format or a numeric check for example.

Dropdown lists, radio buttons and checkboxes give the best way to enter information because the user is not required to type any data themselves for these type of input.

With a paper form a company requires a data entry department to transfer the form information into the computer. With a form user interface the user is the data entry clerk so saving the company a lot of money.
